Yes I completely agree with this opinion that people prefer to have an adventurous along with thrilling activities on their holidays rather than relaxing themselves in a distant place as the following reasons:

The thing is that it becomes very much boring and repetitive to go to the same distant place whether, its a village or a native rather than having a broader mind to travel and explore new places across the country or abroad.

Also people after a certain point get fed up with the same old repetitive routine in their stressful lives, so depending upon the individual choices of the activities that they would prefer rather than just relaxing also depends upon the place, tourist spots, sightseeing along with shopping and cultures, interacting with new people from diverse background broadens that individual's mind and in a way it educates that person that how different cultural activities especially along with way and lifestyle of living of different people of different ethnic nationalities can make a person feel quite confident and makes him / her motivated as well as self-reliant to travel and explore new countries or cities across the world.

Most importantly is that it is more like a stress buster for most of the people especially who go for 3-4 weeks vacation or travel frequenty from time to time. As per scientific study says that it makes us feel regenerated, fresh, relaxed, stress-free as well as happy and content depending upon the situation and circumstances which come and go depending upon the type of destination along with lodging, stay, sightseeing, budget, culture shocks etc.
