Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 6
Evaluation
The essay attempts to respond to both parts of the task. It presents positives and negatives of pursuing a career early, which relates to the first part, but the author's degree of agreement is vague (e.g., 'i believe this path should be seen as much more wider perspective'). The second part on other factors is mentioned briefly in the conclusion but lacks development and specific examples.
Examples
The introduction states early pursuit should be seen from a 'wider perspective,' but no clear position is given. The last paragraph lists factors like 'aligns with you life goals' but does not elaborate.
How to Improve
Clearly state your level of agreement (e.g., 'I strongly agree' or 'I partially agree') in the introduction. Develop each part with detailed explanations and relevant examples. For the second part, expand on at least 2-3 other factors with supporting ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion 5.5
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure with paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is disjointed. Transitions between paragraphs are weak, and some ideas are not logically sequenced. Spelling and grammar errors further disrupt cohesion.
Examples
The body paragraphs jump from positives to negatives without linking phrases. The conclusion abruptly introduces new ideas without connection to previous discussions.
How to Improve
Use cohesive devices (e.g., 'On the other hand,' 'Furthermore,' 'In contrast') to link paragraphs and ideas. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and follows a logical order. Proofread to reduce errors that break the flow.
Lexical Resource 5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is limited with frequent spelling errors and inappropriate word choices, which hinder communication and reduce precision. Some attempts at varied vocabulary are made, but accuracy is poor.
Examples
Misspellings: 'desision' (decision), 'pursueing' (pursuing), 'nagitives' (negatives), 'stuked' (stuck), 'aloop' (a loop), 'nobel facto' (noble factor). Inappropriate use: 'flexiblity' (flexibility) and 'benificial' (beneficial).
How to Improve
Practice spelling common words and use a dictionary to check accuracy. Expand vocabulary related to career and satisfaction (e.g., 'fulfillment,' 'advancement,' 'work-life balance'). Avoid informal phrases like 'easier than you think.'
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 5
Evaluation
Grammatical errors are frequent throughout, affecting clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement, article misuse, tense inconsistencies, and sentence structure problems. Range is limited to simple constructions.
Examples
Errors: 'can also means' (should be 'mean'), 'a exposure' (an exposure), 'you life' (your life), 'i belive' (I believe), 'lesser learning' (less learning). Sentence fragment: 'For instance, you learn as you grow.'
How to Improve
Review basic grammar rules, especially subject-verb agreement, articles, and possessive pronouns. Practice writing complex sentences with clauses. Proofread carefully to correct errors and improve accuracy.
