In some countries, people are converging towars living alone more than before. I think this has both of positives and some negatives as well. While this trend may have some advantages likr independency, privacy.I believe the negative development is larger as it can lead to lonliness and financial unrest.
On the other hand, people living alone become more independent and live their lives better. They tend to become more responsible. They also manage to build skills like cooking, organizing, managing daily expenses and also maintaining adaily routine. Many young professionals prefer living alone as they get more calm environment to work on and concentrate more on their personal growth.
However, this comes with drawbacks too I think outweigh" title="Correction: which I think outweigh">which i think outweights the advantages. Living alone may cause severe lonliness, to an extend which may cause mental health issues. Human are social beings. We tend to live in groups, living alone disrepts it heavily. Many people who lived by themselves suffer from stress, anxiety, mental fatigue or a lack of mental support during difficult times may also feel. Furthermore, people living alone must have to manage all the expenses all alone. The rent, utility bills, groceries everything. This may create financial pressure. Especially in big cities, the expenses are way too high.
Another negative consequence is weakening of family bond and loss of social circle. When we are with our family living under same roof the intimacy is different, when we choose living alone we do sacrifice that too.
In conclusion, I think the negative affect is higher than the positive side of getting privicy and living independently because, it hits you mentally. May harm mental wellbeing more than anything and i do not think it's worth it.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 6
Evaluation
The essay responds to the question and takes a clear stance that the trend is more negative than positive. It provides reasons for both sides. However, the arguments are underdeveloped: advantages are only briefly listed, and the disadvantages lack specific examples or deeper exploration. The conclusion restates the opinion but does not synthesize ideas effectively.
Examples
The paragraph on advantages simply lists 'independency, privacy, becoming more responsible' without explanation. The disadvantage paragraph mentions 'lonliness, financial unrest, mental health issues' but does not elaborate or provide real-world evidence.
How to Improve
Develop each point with specific examples or scenarios. For instance, discuss how living alone might improve career focus for young professionals, or elaborate on the link between isolation and depression with supporting data or studies. Ensure each body paragraph has a clear main idea supported by details.
Coherence and Cohesion 6
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure: introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the flow is disrupted by incorrect use of linking words. For example, 'On the other hand' is used to introduce advantages rather than contrast. Transitions between paragraphs and within paragraphs are weak, and ideas sometimes jump without logical connectors.
Examples
The introduction uses 'While this trend... I believe the negative development is larger' which is okay, but then 'On the other hand' starts the next paragraph incorrectly. The third paragraph begins with 'However,' which is appropriate, but then the fourth paragraph on family bonds is not clearly linked.
How to Improve
Use a clear organizational pattern: state your overall position in the introduction, then dedicate one paragraph to advantages and one to disadvantages, or vice versa. Use appropriate transition words like 'In contrast,' 'Nevertheless,' 'Furthermore,' and ensure they match the logical relationship. Practice linking sentences within paragraphs with pronouns and synonyms.
Lexical Resource 5
Evaluation
Vocabulary range is limited and contains frequent spelling errors and incorrect word choices. Words such as 'converging towars', 'likr', 'independency', 'lonliness', 'disrepts', 'privicy', and 'unrest' are misspelled or misused. The essay relies on basic vocabulary like 'good', 'bad', 'big', 'high'. There is minimal use of less common or idiomatic language.
Examples
'People are converging towars living alone' should be 'are choosing to live alone'. 'Financial unrest' is unclear; 'financial strain' or 'instability' would be better. 'To an extend' is an error for 'to an extent'.
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by reading model essays and noting topic-specific terms (e.g., 'isolation', 'autonomy', 'financial burden', 'mental well-being'). Use a dictionary to check spelling and collocation. Avoid repeating the same words; use synonyms like 'drawback', 'downside', 'disadvantage'. Practice writing sentences with precise vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 5
Evaluation
There are numerous grammatical errors that affect clarity. Subject-verb agreement issues ('Human are...'), incorrect verb forms ('converging'), missing words ('to an extend which may cause...'), and comma splices or run-on sentences. Sentence structures are mostly simple or compound with limited use of complex sentences. Accuracy is inconsistent.
Examples
'I believe the negative development is larger as it can lead to lonliness and financial unrest' is a run-on sentence. 'Many people who lived by themselves suffer from stress... may also feel' is poorly structured. 'When we choose living alone we do sacrifice that too' lacks a comma and is awkward.
How to Improve
Review basic grammar rules: subject-verb agreement, correct tense usage, and sentence boundaries. Practice using subordinate clauses (e.g., 'Although living alone promotes independence, it can lead to isolation'). Write shorter, clearer sentences until accuracy improves. Use grammar-check tools and proofread aloud.
