Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response5.5
Evaluation
The response presents a clear position (agreement) and supports it with reasons and examples. However, the ideas are somewhat basic and not fully extended, and the essay is slightly underlength, reducing the depth of discussion.
Examples
Examples include parents helping with reading and writing before school, teaching life skills like honesty, and guiding emotional development through conflict management.
How to Improve
Expand on each point with more detailed examples or evidence. Consider addressing potential counterarguments to strengthen the discussion. Ensure the essay meets the minimum word count by elaborating on ideas.
Coherence & Cohesion6
Evaluation
The essay has a logical structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Cohesive devices like 'firstly', 'secondly', and 'moreover' are used, but transitions between ideas could be smoother.
Examples
Paragraphs are organized by topic (academic support, life skills, emotional development), but some paragraphs are short and could be better linked.
How to Improve
Use a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'in addition', 'consequently') to improve flow. Ensure each paragraph is fully developed with supporting details and clear topic sentences.
Lexical Resource5.5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is adequate for the topic but lacks variety and contains several spelling errors, indicating limited control of lexical items.
Examples
Misspellings include 'strogly' (strongly), 'develoment' (development), 'cinfidence' (confidence), 'writting' (writing), and 'disappoinment' (disappointment).
How to Improve
Proofread carefully to correct spelling errors. Incorporate more precise and varied vocabulary related to education and parenting. Use a dictionary or thesaurus to expand word choice.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy5.5
Evaluation
Sentence structures are mostly simple, and there are frequent errors in capitalization, punctuation, and word formation, affecting accuracy.
Examples
Errors include missing capital letters ('i strogly agree'), run-on sentences ('children learn by example abnd daily interaction'), and typos ('abnd' for 'and').
How to Improve
Practice using complex sentences (e.g., with clauses) while maintaining accuracy. Review rules for capitalization and punctuation. Proofread to eliminate grammatical errors and improve sentence clarity.
