Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response5.5
Evaluation
The essay presents both positive and negative aspects of living alone, but the position is not consistently clear. Ideas are relevant but lack depth and specific development. The conclusion suggests a preference for family living, but the body does not strongly support this.
Examples
The introduction states the essay will discuss positives and negatives, but the conclusion abruptly states 'living in families are more beneficial' without sufficient justification. Examples are vague, such as 'if they are live in separated from their family is lead to less responsibility'.
How to Improve
Clearly state your position in the introduction and maintain it throughout. Develop each point with detailed explanations and specific, real-world examples. Ensure the conclusion aligns with the argument presented.
Coherence & Cohesion5
Evaluation
There is a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, but cohesion is mechanical. Grammatical errors disrupt the flow, and paragraphs are not always logically connected. Cohesive devices are used but not effectively.
Examples
Use of 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' provides some structure, but sentences within paragraphs are disjointed. For instance, 'Moreover, individual can provides more focus on their career...' is awkward and breaks coherence.
How to Improve
Use a range of cohesive devices (e.g., however, furthermore, consequently) naturally to link ideas. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that sentences follow logically. Proofread to improve clarity and flow.
Lexical Resource5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, with frequent spelling and word choice errors. Some attempts at varied vocabulary are made, but errors impede communication.
Examples
Misspellings: 'exports' for 'experts', 'famalies' for 'families', 'self-dependentand' for 'self-dependent and'. Inappropriate word choice: 'boring' instead of 'bored', 'isolated' used repetitively.
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by learning topic-related words and collocations. Use a dictionary to check spelling and word forms. Avoid repetition by using synonyms. Practice writing with focus on accuracy.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy5
Evaluation
Grammatical errors are frequent throughout, affecting clarity. Simple sentence structures dominate, and attempts at complex sentences are often inaccurate. Issues include subject-verb agreement, tense errors, and incorrect word order.
Examples
Incorrect verb forms: 'people are choose' (should be 'people choose'), 'because of they are want' (should be 'because they want'), 'is lead to' (should be 'leads to'). Sentence fragments: 'Assumed that, living independently can also hard...'.
How to Improve
Focus on mastering basic grammar rules, especially verb tenses, articles, and prepositions. Practice constructing complex sentences correctly. Proofread thoroughly to identify and correct errors.
