Several people in different countries are leaning towards living alone these days than earlier. Living alone provides several positive aspects. However, I firmly believe that living alone is a negative developemnt because of the health issues that occurs from staying alone.

On one hand, people who live alone tend to experience more free time in their lives, which can be utilised to explore a lot of places, to learn a variety of new skills and enhance them. For instance, people who live alone don't have to allocate time to their family members or friends, which provides them a plenty of time to explore new aspects such as, visiting new places. Additionally, such individual takes more personal and proffessional risks as they don't have anyone that depends on them, which results in significant growth if things goes well.

On the other hand, the issues that occur with living alone cannot be overlooked. Individual living alone is likely to suffer with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression due to the lack of emotional support in their life. For instance, people who tend to live alone usually don't share about their problems with others which exacerbates their mental health condition. Not only does it exacerbate mental health condition but also, it worsens bad physical health condition during diseases such as fever, nausaea, headaches due to lack of appropriate care and proper nutrients. Furthermore, it may has negative impact on personal life owing to lack of direct feedbacks for improvement.

To conclude, several people in different countries are opting to live alone as it provides them a lot of free time and faster success and accomplishments. Despite the positives, negative aspects such as worsening of health conditions which results from living alone cannot be overlooked. Thus, I firmly believe that residing with someone is better option than living alone.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response6.5
Evaluation
The essay presents a clear opinion and covers both sides of the argument, but the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. Examples are provided but lack depth and specific detail.
Examples
Positives: free time for exploration and risk-taking. Negatives: mental health issues like anxiety and depression, and physical health decline due to lack of care. However, these points are not elaborated with strong evidence or nuanced analysis.
How to Improve
Extend arguments by providing more concrete examples, statistics, or real-life scenarios. Explain the causal links more clearly, e.g., how exactly living alone leads to health issues. Consider counterarguments to strengthen the position.
Coherence & Cohesion6.5
Evaluation
The essay has a logical structure with an introduction, body paragraphs for each side, and a conclusion. Linking words are used, but cohesion within paragraphs could be improved for smoother flow.
Examples
Use of 'On one hand' and 'On the other hand' effectively separates ideas. However, sentences within paragraphs sometimes jump between points without clear connections, e.g., from free time to risk-taking without a transitional phrase.
How to Improve
Use a wider range of cohesive devices (e.g., pronouns, synonyms) to refer back to previous ideas. Ensure each paragraph starts with a topic sentence and follows with supporting sentences that logically progress. Avoid abrupt shifts.
Lexical Resource6
Evaluation
Vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but several spelling errors and inappropriate word choices reduce the score. Some repetition occurs, and range is limited.
Examples
Spelling errors: 'developemnt' (development), 'proffessional' (professional), 'nausaea' (nausea). Incorrect word form: 'feedbacks' (feedback is uncountable). Word choice: 'nutrients' might be better as 'nutrition' in context.
How to Improve
Proofread carefully to correct spelling mistakes. Expand vocabulary by learning synonyms (e.g., 'residing' instead of 'living'). Use collocations accurately and avoid overusing common words like 'people' or 'issues'.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy6
Evaluation
There are multiple grammatical errors that hinder clarity, and sentence structures are mostly simple, with limited complex sentences. Errors in subject-verb agreement and verb forms are noticeable.
Examples
Subject-verb agreement: 'health issues that occurs' (should be 'occur'), 'such individual takes' (should be 'individuals take'), 'things goes well' (should be 'go'). Verb form: 'it may has' (should be 'may have').
How to Improve
Practice using complex sentences with clauses (e.g., relative clauses, conditional sentences). Focus on subject-verb agreement, especially with plural subjects. Review modal verb constructions (e.g., may/might + base verb).
