Summary: The essay adequately addresses the task by presenting a clear view that living alone is a negative development, with relevant arguments for both sides. It meets the minimum word count. However, there are several spelling errors (e.g., 'belive', 'indipendence', 'contrubutes') and a missing article ('a negative development'), which slightly lower the lexical and grammatical scores. Coherence and cohesion are strong, with a logical structure and effective use of linking words.

in some recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of people choosing to live alone in many countries. While this trend may offer certain advantages, I belive it is largely a negative development due to its social and psychological consequences.
On the one hand, living alone can provide individuals with greater indipendence and freedom. People are able to make their own decisions without compromise, which can be especially beneficial for young professionals and students. For instance, they can organize their daily routines according to their preferences and focus more effectively on their career or studies. In addition, living alone may encourage self reliance, as individuals must manage their finances, household tasks, and personal responsibility indipendently.
However, despite these benefits, the drawbacks of this trend are more significant. One major concern is social isolation. Humans are naturally social beings, and living alone for extended periods can lead to loneliness and even mental health issues such as depression. Furthermore, this lifestyle may weaken family bonds and reduce the sense of community in society. In the long run, this could result in a more disconnected population.
Another issue is the economic impact. Living alone often requires more resources, such as housing and utilities, which can increase living costs. This not only places financial pressure on individuals but also contrubutes to inefficient use of resources at a societal level.
In conclusion, although living alone offers independence and personal growth, its negatve effects on mental well being and social relationships outweigh the advantages. Therefore, I believe this is negative development overall.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 6.5
Evaluation
The essay fully addresses the question and presents a clear position (negative development). It covers both positive aspects (independence, self-reliance) and negative aspects (social isolation, economic impact), though the discussion could be more developed with specific examples.
Examples
The introduction states the position clearly. Paragraphs on independence and social isolation show a balanced approach. The conclusion reiterates the negative view.
How to Improve
To achieve a higher score, provide more specific examples or evidence (e.g., studies on loneliness, real-life cases) and explore the topic in greater depth, such as discussing different age groups or cultural contexts.
Coherence and Cohesion 7
Evaluation
The essay is well-organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Cohesive devices like 'on the one hand', 'however', 'in addition', 'furthermore' are used appropriately to connect ideas. Paragraphing is logical.
Examples
The transition from positive to negative points is smooth using 'However, despite these benefits...' The second body paragraph begins with 'Another issue is...' which maintains flow.
How to Improve
While cohesive devices are used, adding more variety (e.g., 'consequently', 'as a result', 'in contrast') and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence could enhance cohesion further.
Lexical Resource 6.5
Evaluation
The essay shows a reasonable range of vocabulary appropriate for the topic (e.g., 'social isolation', 'mental health issues', 'inefficient use of resources'). However, there are several spelling errors that detract from lexical accuracy.
Examples
Correct uses: 'noticeable increase', 'self reliance', 'weaken family bonds'. Errors: 'belive' (believe), 'indipendence' (independence), 'contrubutes' (contributes), 'negatve' (negative).
How to Improve
Proofread carefully to eliminate spelling mistakes. Expand vocabulary by using synonyms (e.g., 'autonomy' for independence, 'drawbacks' for disadvantages) and more precise terms (e.g., 'psychological repercussions' instead of 'consequences').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 6.5
Evaluation
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. Most sentences are grammatically correct, but there are a few errors that affect accuracy.
Examples
Correct: 'Humans are naturally social beings' and 'This not only places financial pressure...' Errors: 'I belive it is largely a negative development' (missing 'a' before 'negative'), and 'living alone for extended periods can lead to loneliness' is fine, but note the subject-verb agreement is correct.
How to Improve
Review basic articles (a/an/the) and verb forms. Practice using more complex structures like conditional sentences or passive voice to improve range. For instance: 'If more people live alone, society may become increasingly fragmented.'
