Relocating big businesses and industries and their workers from urban areas to rural areas could be a good solution for the issues of traffic congestion and housing in major cities. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Rapid urbanization has led to severe overcrowding, traffic gridlock, and exorbitant housing prices in major metropolises. It is frequently argued that relocating large corporations and industrial facilities to the countryside would effectively alleviate these pressures. While this strategy offers clear benefits regarding urban decongestion, I largely agree with the proposal, though I believe it must be executed with caution to avoid transferring urban problems to rural environments.

The primary argument for decentralization is the immediate relief it would bring to city infrastructure. Major cities are currently choking under the weight of commuters; by moving large employers to rural areas, the volume of daily traffic would decrease significantly. Furthermore, this shift would address the housing crisis. If demand for city apartments drops, rental and property prices would likely stabilize, making city living more affordable for those who remain. Simultaneously, workers moving to rural areas would enjoy a lower cost of living and potentially larger living spaces, improving their overall quality of life.

Moreover, such a move could stimulate rural economies. The arrival of large industries brings infrastructure development, such as better roads, internet connectivity, and public services, which are often lacking in the countryside.
