People are increasingly using artificial Intelligence (AI) to create art, music, and other forms of creative work. Though this trend is beneficial, it also has some drawbacks. Its adavantages and disadvantages would be discussed in this essay.

To start with, artists, musicians and others use AI to creat contents mostly because it can be easier and saves time than trying to do the work manually. In recent years, most people depend on AI to facilitate they work than spending days or weeks figuring out things all alone. You only need to give AI a correct and clear instruction and you will have your results in few munites. AI also help in generating different ideas for creative works. If an artist ran out of ideas, this intelligence tool can provide such person with amazing ideas.

In contrast, frequent use of AI toosl for idea generation can limit the users soft skills such as critical thinking and creativity. For instance, if a person depends on anythig to do the function of the brain, the brain can become domant and relaxed thereby impeding it further development and even losing a learnt skill. Furthermore, it fosters laziness. In the quest of always having work done in an easier and faster way, a creator can become lazy and may find it hard to cope later if AI eventually becomes unavailable.

In conclusion, individuals are steadily using artificial intelligence to generate all kinds of creative work. Its advantage is that it would make jobs faster and easier . However, it can lead to laziness on the part of the creator.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 5.5
Evaluation
The essay responds to the prompt by discussing advantages and disadvantages, but ideas are not fully extended or supported with detailed examples. The conclusion is overly brief.
Examples
Advantages: 'AI can be easier and saves time...' and 'AI also help in generating different ideas...' Disadvantages: 'frequent use of AI... can limit the users soft skills...' and 'it fosters laziness.'
How to Improve
Develop each point with specific examples or evidence. For instance, explain how AI tools like DALL-E or GPT-3 are used in art or music, and discuss societal impacts such as job displacement or authenticity in art.
Coherence and Cohesion 5.5
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure with introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, cohesion is weakened by informal language, abrupt shifts, and some unclear connections between ideas.
Examples
The introduction uses passive voice ('would be discussed'), and the second paragraph shifts to direct address ('You only need...'). Transitions like 'In contrast' are used, but within paragraphs, linking is minimal.
How to Improve
Use a more formal tone throughout, avoid direct address ('you'), and employ cohesive devices (e.g., 'furthermore', 'for example', 'as a result') to improve flow. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence.
Lexical Resource 5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with several spelling errors that detract from the message. Some relevant terms are used but without precision or variety.
Examples
Misspellings: 'adavantages' (advantages), 'munites' (minutes), 'toosl' (tools), 'domant' (dormant). Repetition of words like 'easier', 'faster', and 'laziness'.
How to Improve
Expand lexical range by using synonyms (e.g., 'efficient' instead of 'easier', 'indolence' instead of 'laziness') and domain-specific terms (e.g., 'algorithmic creativity', 'human artistry'). Proofread to correct spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 5
Evaluation
Frequent grammatical errors occur in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and pronouns. Sentence structures are mostly simple, with attempts at complexity that are often inaccurate.
Examples
'AI also help' (should be 'helps'), 'facilitate they work' (should be 'their work'), 'if an artist ran out' (should be 'runs out'), 'impeding it further development' (should be 'its further development').
How to Improve
Focus on accuracy in basic grammar: practice verb forms, articles (a/an/the), and possessive pronouns. Try incorporating complex sentences with correct subordination (e.g., 'Although AI saves time, it may reduce creativity.').
