In the contemporary world, it is common belief that artistic works are being mostly created by AI tools. This essay will illustrate the benefits and some drawbacks of this trend in a long term.
On the one hand, AI tools are making our life easy by creating various musics and inventing some kinds of the pieces of art. In other words, scientists are drawing the picture of objects, planets, which are not even exist so far. This can help us to imagine how would our future be in the next 50 or 100 years. A good example would be that, Unsupervised by Refik Anadol can show how the culture may affect in future. In this work, Anadol used an AI proffessionally to illustrate the condition of world damaged by culture variation. Another main plus of AI can be the cost effectiveness. Meaning that, it is, now, much more cheaper to create a new music by using online tools rather than recording it in the past. It might be even totally free to make desired music, nowadays. Thus, creating music and art have become much more convenient thanks to Artificial Intelligence.
On the other hand, Using AI in art seems to have some drawbacks. First and foremost, AI can never provide an emotion of the real work of Art which is done by a professional artist. However, real masterpieces are being neglected due to the attention captured by AI. In the neat future, AI can replace the job of proffessional artists, as a result of it real artistic projects might be the part of our past era.
In conclusion, although AI has a significant number of benefits, we should not let it replace the real hand-made masterpieces.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 6
Evaluation
The essay covers both advantages (ease, visualization, cost-effectiveness) and disadvantages (lack of emotion, job replacement) of AI in art, which is relevant to the question. However, the discussion is superficial and lacks depth. Only one specific example (Refik Anadol's 'Unsupervised') is mentioned, but it is not fully explained. The conclusion is brief and does not synthesise the arguments. The response could be more balanced and developed.
Examples
For advantages, the writer says 'AI tools are making our life easy' and gives the example of drawing non-existent objects, but the link to 'culture may affect in future' is unclear. The disadvantage paragraph is short and repeats the idea of emotion without concrete illustration.
How to Improve
Expand each point with more specific examples or data. For advantages, discuss how AI democratises creativity or assists artists. For disadvantages, elaborate on the loss of human touch or ethical issues. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and sufficient supporting details.
Coherence and Cohesion 6
Evaluation
The essay has a clear overall structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs (one for advantages, one for disadvantages), and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'First and foremost', and 'In conclusion' are used appropriately. However, the second body paragraph is underdeveloped, leading to an imbalance. Some ideas within paragraphs are not smoothly connected (e.g., from 'emotion' to 'real masterpieces neglected'). The introduction's claim about 'long term' is not fully addressed.
Examples
The first body paragraph tries to link multiple ideas (ease, imagination, cost) but the transition between 'imagine future' and 'cost effectiveness' is abrupt. The second body paragraph jumps from 'no emotion' to 'replacement' without clear progression.
How to Improve
Plan paragraphs to focus on one main advantage or disadvantage per paragraph. Use linking words within paragraphs (e.g., 'for instance', 'as a result') to show cause and effect. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that ideas flow logically. Develop the second body paragraph with more detail.
Lexical Resource 5.5
Evaluation
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but limited in range and precision. There are several spelling errors ('proffessionally', 'proffessional', 'neat future') and collocation mistakes ('much more cheaper' should be 'much cheaper' or 'more cheap'). Some phrases are awkward ('drawing the picture of objects, planets, which are not even exist'). The writer attempts some higher-level words ('contemporary world', 'masterpieces', 'cost effectiveness') but overall the lexical resource is not flexible or accurate enough for a higher band.
Examples
Errors: 'proffessionally' (professionally), 'neat future' (near future), 'musics' (music as uncountable), 'pieces of art' (acceptable but could be 'works of art'). The phrase 'Unsupervised by Refik Anadol' is not clearly explained.
How to Improve
Practice spelling common academic and topic-specific words. Use a dictionary to check word forms (e.g., 'professional' not 'proffessional'). Avoid double comparatives ('more cheaper'). Expand vocabulary by learning synonyms for 'advantage' and 'disadvantage' and phrases for giving examples. Use collocations like 'wide range of', 'significant impact', etc.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 5.5
Evaluation
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. Examples include incorrect word order ('how would our future be'), missing or misused articles ('AI can never provide an emotion of the real work of Art'), and flawed relative clauses ('which are not even exist' should be 'that do not even exist' or 'which do not exist'). Subject-verb agreement is generally okay, but the overall accuracy is low, making some parts difficult to understand.
Examples
'it is, now, much more cheaper' – double comparative and awkward punctuation. 'as a result of it real artistic projects might be the part of our past era' – missing 'which' or restructuring needed. 'using AI in art seems to have some drawbacks' – 'using' as a gerund is fine but the sentence lacks a clear subject.
How to Improve
Review basic grammar rules: comparatives, word order in questions, and relative clauses. Practice writing sentences with different structures (simple, compound, complex). Proofread for common mistakes like missing verbs or prepositions. Consider using conditional sentences (e.g., 'If AI becomes dominant, human art might disappear').
