Internet had completely changed the way we live our life but the most important change is communication. We can speak from any part of the world from anywhere at anytime. Even though it had brought the world closer, I feel that we are slowly drifting away from each other.
The most beautiful thing about internet is that it holds the entire world in it. We can do everything using internet from learning new skills to shopping for home . The way we used to communicate had changed differently. Nowadays it is very easy to speak with people in differnt parts of the world. We can share out photos, thoughts everything in apps like Instagram, Whatsapp and facebook. For instance my father is working abroad. so, we use an app called IMO, where we can video call him. He is 10000 kilometers away from us but due to the presence of these kinds of apps we are able to connect with him easily.
Eventhough it has so many good things. I find that people are becoming addicted to phone. We have started to stick to the screen and instead of enjoying the presence, we are always attached to the cell phone and scrooling reels, shorts wasting our precious time in unnecessary things. My mother bought a phone for my younger brother there are so many things to learn from internet but instead I found that he had become an addict to the internet and every day he is staring his cell phone for around 10+ hours and little aggressive" title="Correction: he has become a little aggressive">he became little aggressive towards us. It is our discipline that control us from such long usage.
To summarize this eventhough there are so much disadvanateges of using internet. If we use the internet in a proper way we can learn many thing like life saving, money making skills and it is also possible win the entire world with your skills.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response5.5
Evaluation
The essay partially addresses all parts of the task. It presents arguments for and against the internet simplifying communication and states an opinion, but the arguments are underdeveloped. The 'for' argument focuses on connecting with family abroad, while the 'against' argument discusses phone addiction and reduced real-life interaction. The opinion is implied but not clearly articulated in a balanced way.
Examples
Example of for argument: 'We can video call him... we are able to connect with him easily.' Example of against argument: 'people are becoming addicted to phone... wasting our precious time.' The conclusion suggests proper use can yield benefits, but it lacks depth.
How to Improve
To improve, ensure a more balanced discussion with broader examples beyond personal experience. Clearly state your opinion in the introduction and conclusion. Develop each argument with specific, relevant evidence and explain how they relate to the simplification of communication.
Coherence & Cohesion5.5
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, but coherence is weakened by abrupt transitions and repetitive ideas. Paragraphing is present but could be more logical. Cohesive devices are used but are sometimes inaccurate or overused.
Examples
The transition 'Eventhough it has so many good things.' is misspelled and abrupt. The second paragraph jumps from general benefits to a personal example without smooth linking. The conclusion starts with 'To summarize this eventhough...' which is awkward.
How to Improve
Use a clearer paragraph structure: one for introduction, one for for arguments, one for against arguments, and one for conclusion. Improve transitions with phrases like 'On the one hand,' and 'On the other hand,'. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and supporting details.
Lexical Resource5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with several spelling errors and informal terms. The range is limited, and word choice does not precisely convey ideas. Some attempts at variety are made but are not always accurate.
Examples
Misspellings: 'differnt' (different), 'disadvanateges' (disadvantages), 'scrooling' (scrolling). Informal terms: 'apps', 'reels, shorts'. Basic vocabulary: 'changed differently' could be 'transformed' or 'revolutionized'. Repetition of 'internet' and 'phone'.
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by learning and using more academic words related to technology and communication. Avoid informal language in academic writing. Practice spelling and use a dictionary or spell-check. Use synonyms (e.g., 'digital platforms' instead of 'apps') to demonstrate range.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy5
Evaluation
There are frequent grammatical errors, including tense inconsistencies, subject-verb agreement issues, and incorrect sentence structures. Punctuation is often missing or misused, leading to run-on sentences. Simple sentence structures dominate, with limited complex sentences.
Examples
Tense error: 'Internet had completely changed' should be 'has changed'. Sentence fragment: 'so, we use an app called IMO,' should be part of a complete sentence. Run-on: 'My mother bought a phone for my younger brother there are so many things...' needs punctuation. Aggregation error: 'so much disadvanateges' should be 'so many disadvantages'.
How to Improve
Review and practice verb tenses, especially present perfect for changes over time. Work on sentence structure by combining simple sentences into complex ones using clauses. Use punctuation correctly to separate ideas. Proofread essays to catch and correct errors before submission.
