Online platform like facebook, instagram and whatsapp for communication are famous in today's world. People often use this platform for chat, video calls and share photos. Because of this the world seems small it feels like we are living next door. In my opinion, this has positive impacts on the society but at the same time there are some negetive drawbacks of it.
At first, taking about the positive impacts it helps in major things such as we are updated in everythings of our family and friends. For example, people living far from there family can talk to there family and friends and share there problems and happiness. Moreover, people feels more worries and stressful when they become isolated due to lack of communication this platform helps" title="Correction: this platform helps">this platform help to reduce it because back in a days people used to send letter and it take more time to reach in a destination but in current time it become so easy.
However, there are also some negative impact of it. People are getting lazy and more comfartable with their lifes because of this physical meetings are going out of trend. For example, back in a days people used to meet each other and share there feelings which helps to make good bonds between them. By talking through online can leads to wrong information such as we cannot find out person is talking truth.
In my opinion, while internet has certain drawbacks such as lazyness and wrong informations, it is benefits in a terms of connecting with family, friends and save time. Therefore, it has both benefits and drawbacks.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 5.5
Evaluation
The essay addresses the task, presenting both positive and negative aspects of the internet's impact on communication, and includes a personal opinion. However, the arguments are superficial and lack concrete, well-developed examples. The points about isolation and laziness are vague, and the counter-argument does not fully explore the complexity of the issue.
Examples
Positive impacts: 'we are updated in everythings of our family' – lacks specific illustration. Negative: 'physical meetings are going out of trend' – broad statement without evidence. Opinion is stated but not strongly supported.
How to Improve
Develop each argument with specific, real-life examples (e.g., how video calls maintain relationships across time zones, or how over-reliance on text can lead to misunderstandings). Address the prompt more directly by explicitly linking arguments to 'simplified communication'.
Coherence and Cohesion 5
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure (introduction, two body paragraphs, conclusion), but the flow is disrupted by abrupt transitions and lack of clear linking. The first body paragraph mixes positive points without clear progression, and the second paragraph shifts to negatives without a cohesive transition. Use of 'At first' and 'However' is weak.
Examples
'At first, taking about the positive impacts' – awkward opening. No clear separation between ideas within paragraphs. Conclusion repeats 'benefits and drawbacks' without synthesis.
How to Improve
Use a clearer paragraph structure: one paragraph for arguments for, one for arguments against, and a separate conclusion. Employ cohesive devices like 'On the one hand', 'Furthermore', 'In contrast', 'Consequently' to guide the reader. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence.
Lexical Resource 5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is limited and repetitive. Simple words like 'positive impacts', 'negative impact', 'good bonds' are used frequently. There are spelling errors ('negetive', 'comfartable', 'lazyness', 'there' for 'their') and awkward word choices ('taking about', 'in a terms of'). The range is insufficient for a higher band.
Examples
'People feels more worries and stressful' – incorrect form. 'back in a days' – non-standard. 'it become so easy' – lacks precision.
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by learning synonyms for common terms (e.g., 'benefits/drawbacks', 'strengthen bonds', 'reduce isolation'). Practice using collocations (e.g., 'maintain relationships', 'face-to-face interaction'). Proofread for spelling and word form errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 5
Evaluation
There are frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. Subject-verb agreement issues ('people feels', 'it become'), incorrect prepositions ('in a terms of'), missing articles, and inconsistent tense. Sentence structures are mostly simple with few complex constructions.
Examples
'Online platform like facebook...' – missing article/plural. 'people used to send letter' – missing plural. 'cannot find out person is talking truth' – incorrect clause structure.
How to Improve
Review basic grammar rules: subject-verb agreement, plural nouns, article usage. Practice forming complex sentences with subordinate clauses (e.g., 'Although the internet saves time, it can also lead to laziness'). Use a mix of simple and complex structures. Proofread carefully.
