Artificial Intelligence has been the latest trending topic recently. People have been seen taking sides on whether AI has more to offer than it takes in the current world. It is worth taking note that both sides of the debate have facts to back their opinions. Artificial Intelligence, just like any other technological tool, has both its advantages and disadvantages. Its incorporation in the creation of art, music and other content creation has elicited reactions globally.
First, Artificial Intelligence has improved production of content. Recently, it has been tasked with refining content online to meet the preferences of the consumers. There is a huge distinction in quality of art or music created by Artificial Intelligence in comparison with those created with ordinary tools. Musicians and artists are now using the technology in production of their songs. An example of using it is seen in the introduuction of musical notes developed through Artificial Intelligence in music.
Additionally. Artificial Intelligence has the capacity to meet the demand of content in terms of production. The technology has the capabilities to produce content in bulk thereby filling the gap of consumption. Unlike before when it would take a substantial amount of time for a song to be produced, the use of AI has significantly reduced that time. An artist can now enter a studio and in some few hours come up with a rhythmic musical note.
However, this technology also has adverse effects. The sense of originality is at the risk of being diluted by content produced by AI. Producers can now mix different musical notes and produce a song in a short time. The traditional concept of using songs and art to pass a message or an idea is being threatened by machines. Since more creative work get produced without targeted goals, there will be little need by people to take time to sieve the important content from those with little significance.
Generally, Artificial Intelligence has numerous advantages as well as disadvantages. The aim should be trying to find a way of optimizing the pros of this technology while mitigating the cons. While it might be an uphill task, it is realistically achievable.
