The growing prevalence of owning a residence or renting one has sparked considerable debate in recent time. While trend offers several noteworthy benefits, it also give rise to certain drawbacks.
From a positive perspective, one major benefit of owing the house provides a sense of security and stability. This is largely due to the fact that renting a place can be often unpredictable, as landlord may raise rent price or decide to sell the property. Equally important is the fact that once the person owns the property , they are able to spend their money more freely and consider different employment without the fear of becoming homeless. For instance, after becoming the owner they can spent their money for their desire, and investing it for future needs. Moreover, having home lends an air of respectability. Only wealthy are able to buy a house and most homeowners take pride in the size and condition of their home as a sign of their social standing.
Nevertheless, the disadvantages of this trend should not be overlooked. A primary concern is it forces unrealistic expectations on millions, as it may led to borrow a loan from the financial institutions which require for the person to pay the mortgage timely. This is also a point to note that people take the more loan than they could really afford to buy homes, then defaulted on their payment and lost the lifetime investment. Additionally, just owning the house is not enough, one also needs to maintain the property such as furniture, equipment etc. .
In summary, although buying the house certainly brings a number of clear benefits, the associated drawbacks remain a cause for concern. Overall, careful discussion of this topic it is essential to ensure that its advantages are maximized while its negative impacts are minimized.
