Summary: The essay adequately addresses the prompt by identifying causes (loss of authority, technology) and a solution (student involvement) for student behaviour issues. However, the development is limited, examples are weak or unclear, and the writing contains frequent grammatical and lexical errors that affect clarity. The essay meets the 250-word minimum (283 words). Overall, a Band 5.5 reflects basic task achievement with noticeable weaknesses in language control.

In the modern society, there is a growing debate about students' behaviour in schools around the world. In my view, there are a lot reasons staring from modern education modalities to their families. In order to reduce this phenomenon there are many solutions that can be used. One of the main causes of the student's behaviour is the lack in the understand the concept of authority, because at schools in the past professors were considerate as real authorities. Nowadays, professors are defined only normal people" title="Correction: as normal people">as a normal people who teach a subject in class, because there is not distance between them and students. As a result, students do not demonstrate respect and attention to them. For example in Italy, around 1950, elementary teachers were considerated by families as someone with cultures and valid educational model. Moreover, another reason is that technology has changed learning modalities because actually, students can learn not only from professors but also from internet. For instance, people can easier learning languages on YouTube because they can see videos. Consequently, they may speak fluently without paying professors. There are many solutions for the behavioural problems of students: first, they have to be involve into their educational process, because if they can decide with professors subjects and schools activities they will follow them with more effort. This is important, because they are more interested in learning at school. Consequently, they can achieve better school results and they may maintain a correct behaviour. In conclusion, students behaviour problems are an important and a growing issue in modern schools, it may be cause by lacking in consideration for the authorities as professors. One of the solution could be involve them and their educational process.

Task Response6
Evaluation
The essay responds to both parts of the question: it mentions two causes (changing perception of teacher authority and influence of technology) and one solution (involving students in their education). However, ideas are not fully developed. The cause related to authority is loosely supported with a historical example (Italy 1950), and the technology cause is illustrated by learning languages on YouTube, but the link to behaviour problems is not clearly explained. The solution is stated but lacks detail on implementation. The position is present but not consistently clear.
Examples
Cause example: 'elementary teachers were considerated by families as someone with cultures' – unclear and incomplete. Solution example: 'they have to be involve into their educational process' – lacks specifics.
How to Improve
Develop each cause with more concrete reasoning and specific examples that directly show how they lead to poor behaviour. For the solution, explain how involvement reduces misbehaviour (e.g., giving students choices increases engagement and reduces disruption). Ensure every point is fully explained and connected to the question.
Coherence & Cohesion6
Evaluation
The essay has a clear structure: introduction, two cause paragraphs, one solution paragraph, and a brief conclusion. There is some use of cohesive devices ('Moreover', 'Consequently', 'In conclusion'), but they are sometimes misused or overused. The flow between sentences is occasionally abrupt, and paragraphs are not always logically sequenced. The second cause paragraph shifts abruptly to a solution without a clear transition. The conclusion restates the introduction rather than summarizing the main points.
Examples
Transition from first cause to second cause: 'Moreover, another reason is that technology has changed learning modalities' – acceptable but the example then drifts. The solution paragraph starts with 'There are many solutions...' without linking back to the causes.
How to Improve
Use a wider range of linking words and topic sentences to guide the reader. For example, after discussing causes, write 'Having identified the main causes, we can now consider possible solutions.' Ensure each paragraph has a clear central idea and that sentences within it develop that idea logically.
Lexical Resource5.5
Evaluation
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but contains several errors and awkward choices. Words like 'considerate' (instead of 'considered'), 'cultures' (instead of 'culture'), 'staring' (instead of 'starting'), and 'lacking in consideration for the authorities' are imprecise. There is some repetition of 'professors' and 'students'. The range is limited; more sophisticated terms related to causes and solutions (e.g., 'disrespect', 'disengagement', 'collaborative decision-making') would improve the score.
Examples
Incorrect: 'professors were considerate as real authorities' should be 'considered'. Awkward: 'students do not demonstrate respect and attention to them' – better: 'show respect or attention toward them'.
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by learning synonyms for common words (e.g., 'teachers' instead of always 'professors', 'issues' instead of 'problems'). Pay attention to word forms (adjective vs. verb) and collocations (e.g., 'show respect', 'lack of authority'). Read sample IELTS essays to see natural academic phrasing.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy5
Evaluation
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that interfere with understanding. Errors include missing prepositions ('a lot reasons' → 'a lot of reasons'), subject-verb agreement issues ('students behaviour' → 'student behaviour'), incorrect verb forms ('they have to be involve' → 'involved', 'it may be cause by' → 'caused by'), and run-on sentences. There is some attempt at complex structures (e.g., 'because if they can decide...'), but they are often flawed. Punctuation is inconsistent.
Examples
Error: 'there is not distance between them and students' – should be 'there is no distance'. Error: 'they will follow them with more effort' – unclear antecedent. Error: 'it may be cause by lacking in consideration' – should be 'caused by a lack of consideration'.
How to Improve
Review basic grammar: prepositions, verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and article usage. Practice writing simple, clear sentences before attempting complex ones. After writing, proofread carefully or use grammar-checking tools. Focus on correcting common errors like 'cause/caused' and 'involve/involved'.
