In the modern society, there is a growing debate about students' behaviour in schools around the world. In my view, there are a lot reasons staring from modern education modalities to their families. In order to reduce this phenomenon there are many solutions that can be used.

One of the main causes of the student's behaviour is the lack in the understand the concept of authority, because at schools in the past professors were considerate as real authorities. Nowadays, professors are defined only as a normal people who teach a subject in class, because there is not distance between them and students. As a result, students do not demonstrate respect and attention to them. For example in Italy, around 1950, elementary teachers were considerated by families as someone with cultures and valid educational model.
Moreover, another reason is that technology has changed learning modalities because actually, students can learn not only from professors but also from internet. For instance, people can easier learning languages on YouTube because they can see videos. Consequently, they may speak fluently without paying professors.

There are many solutions for the behavioural problems of students: first, they have to be involve into their educational process, because if they can decide with professors subjects and schools activities they will follow them with more effort. This is important, because they are more interested in learning at school. Consequently, they can achieve better school results and they may maintain a correct behaviour.

In conclusion, students behaviour problems are an important and a growing issue in modern schools, it may be cause by lacking in consideration for the authorities as professors. One of the solution could be involve them and their educational process.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response5.5
Evaluation
The essay identifies two causes (lack of respect for authority, technology changing learning) and one solution (involving students in decision-making). However, the causes are not fully explained, and the examples (Italy in 1950, YouTube language learning) are not directly tied to student behaviour problems. The solution is presented briefly without elaboration. The response partially fulfills the task but lacks depth and specific development.
Examples
The example about Italy 'around 1950' is vague and does not connect clearly to modern student behaviour. The reference to learning languages on YouTube does not illustrate how technology causes behavioural issues.
How to Improve
Provide more concrete and relevant examples for each cause, and explain how they specifically lead to poor behaviour. Expand on solutions with more detail, such as specific programs or school policies. Ensure every point directly supports the question.
Coherence & Cohesion5.5
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, paragraph development is uneven; the first body paragraph mixes two causes without a clear topic sentence. Cohesive devices are limited to simple transitions like 'Moreover' and 'In conclusion'. There is no clear reference or substitution, and ideas are sometimes abruptly presented.
Examples
The jump from 'lack of authority' to 'technology changed learning' in the same paragraph is not smoothly connected. The solution paragraph lacks an introductory sentence to signal its purpose.
How to Improve
Use clear topic sentences for each paragraph. Improve cohesion by using linking words (e.g., 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', 'As a result') and referencing (e.g., 'this issue', 'such behaviour'). Ensure each paragraph focuses on one main idea.
Lexical Resource5
Evaluation
The vocabulary is basic and occasionally misused. Words like 'considerate' (instead of 'considered'), 'cultures' (instead of 'culture'), and 'easier learning' (instead of 'learn easily') show limited range and control. There is some repetition of 'professors' and 'students'. No use of less common or idiomatic language.
Examples
'Professors were considerate as real authorities' – should be 'considered'. 'People can easier learning languages' – grammatically incorrect and awkward.
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by learning synonyms for common words (e.g., 'teachers', 'instructors', 'authority figures'). Practice using academic collocations (e.g., 'pose a challenge', 'stem from', 'foster engagement'). Check word forms and prepositions.
Grammatical Range & Accuracy5
Evaluation
There are frequent grammatical errors, including incorrect verb forms ('they have to be involve'), subject-verb agreement ('professors are considerate' – tense confusion), and missing articles ('in modern society'). Sentence structures are mostly simple or compound with errors (e.g., 'because there is not distance between them'). Punctuation and run-on sentences also occur.
Examples
'it may be cause by lacking in consideration for the authorities as professors' – should be 'caused by a lack of consideration'. 'In the modern society, there is a growing debate...' – correct but inconsistent with other errors.
How to Improve
Review basic verb tenses (past simple, present perfect) and subject-verb agreement. Practice writing complex sentences with subordinate clauses. Proofread for common mistakes like missing -ed endings or incorrect word order.
