In todays fast-paced of world, that we presently reside in, some portion of the society believed that university should give free access to students that what subjects they want to study. While others believed that children should study specific subjects called science and innovation that will be helpful in future. This essay will examine both the views along with the conclusion.

On the one hand, opting subjects with own intrest allow students to perform well in their academics because they will be passionate towards that curriculam. In addition to, by doing this trend will help to reduce the stress among students. Furthermore, this will enhance their intrest and most importantly they are happy in life when they study. For example, when our education system allow students to choose curriculam their own intrest, then they will be more confident towards that subject and allow themselves to study more because they feel motivated.

On the other hand, nowadays uses of technology is incresing day-by-day. Therefore, every individual should have basic knowledge about science, technology and their tools because without this it is not easy for anyone to survive. For instance, with technology advancements there is an introduction of certain apps such as "IRCTC" and "Where is my train" , but if you do not have basic idea about this innovation, then there will be difficult for you to survive as well as travel.
In conclusion, although both the perspective has their own merits and demerits, I firmly believe that, university should allow students to opt subjects with their own preferences, as it will be more practical and beneficial in long term.

Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response6
Evaluation
The essay presents both views and a clear opinion, but the arguments are not fully extended or supported with detailed examples. The discussion remains somewhat superficial.
Examples
For the first view, it states that choosing subjects 'allow students to perform well' and 'reduce stress,' but does not elaborate on how or why. For the second view, it mentions technology use increasing but only gives a brief example about train apps without deeper analysis.
How to Improve
Develop each point further by explaining the consequences or providing more specific, real-world examples. For instance, explain how student motivation leads to better academic outcomes or how technological literacy is crucial in modern jobs.
Coherence & Cohesion6
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, cohesion within paragraphs is weak due to awkward transitions and repetitive ideas. The flow is occasionally disrupted by unclear phrasing.
Examples
Phrases like 'In addition to,' are incomplete, and the connection between sentences in paragraphs is not always smooth. For instance, after discussing passion, it jumps to reducing stress without a clear link.
How to Improve
Use a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore,' 'consequently,' 'on the contrary') to connect ideas. Ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that subsequent sentences support it logically. Revise sentences for better flow.
Lexical Resource5.5
Evaluation
Vocabulary is limited and contains several spelling errors and imprecise word choices. Some words are repeated, and there is a lack of sophisticated lexical items.
Examples
Misspellings: 'intrest' (interest), 'curriculam' (curriculum), 'incresing' (increasing). Awkward phrasing: 'fast-paced of world' and 'basic idea about this innovation.'
How to Improve
Expand vocabulary by reading academic texts and practicing spelling. Use synonyms to avoid repetition (e.g., 'discipline' instead of 'subject'). Focus on accurate word choice in context, such as 'technological advancements' instead of 'technology advancements.'
Grammatical Range & Accuracy5
Evaluation
There are frequent grammatical errors, including incorrect sentence structures, subject-verb agreement issues, and punctuation mistakes. Sentence variety is limited, with mostly simple constructions.
Examples
Incorrect sentence: 'In todays fast-paced of world, that we presently reside in...' should be 'In today's fast-paced world, where we presently reside...' Subject-verb error: 'uses of technology is incresing' should be 'use of technology is increasing.'
How to Improve
Review basic grammar rules, especially subject-verb agreement and article usage. Practice writing complex sentences with clauses. Proofread essays to identify and correct errors before submission.
