Detailed Criteria Feedback

AI-powered analysis for each scoring criterion

Task Response 5
Evaluation
The response partially fulfills the task by presenting both views and a personal opinion, but the development is limited due to under-length and lack of detailed examples or explanation.
Examples
The educational aspect is mentioned with references to evolution and history, but without specific examples. The entertainment side is briefly described with generic amenities like food stalls and green patches.
How to Improve
Expand each paragraph with concrete examples (e.g., name specific museums or exhibits) to illustrate points. Ensure the essay meets the word count by elaborating on ideas and providing more depth in analysis.
Coherence and Cohesion 5
Evaluation
The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, cohesion is weakened by awkward transitions and grammatical errors that disrupt the flow.
Examples
The sentence 'Since, all this information is either engraved on stones...' begins with 'Since' but does not logically connect to the previous idea. Paragraphing is present but could be improved with clearer topic sentences and linking words.
How to Improve
Use a range of cohesive devices (e.g., furthermore, however, in addition) to connect ideas smoothly. Ensure each paragraph has a clear central topic and that sentences within paragraphs are logically ordered.
Lexical Resource 4.5
Evaluation
There is an attempt to use varied vocabulary, but numerous spelling errors and inappropriate word choices reduce accuracy and impact.
Examples
Misspellings such as 'knowledgable' (knowledgeable), 'servived' (survived), 'archeological' (archaeological), 'digged' (dug), 'prividing' (providing), and 'atches' (patches). Some words are used incorrectly, e.g., 'step wise knowledge' (stepwise knowledge).
How to Improve
Proofread carefully to correct spelling errors. Use a dictionary or thesaurus to ensure word choice is accurate. Aim for more precise and academic vocabulary relevant to the topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy 4.5
Evaluation
Grammatical errors are frequent, affecting clarity. Sentence structures are mostly simple, with issues in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation.
Examples
Incorrect verb forms: 'main idea of museums are' (should be 'is'), 'to keep new generation know about' (should be 'to keep the new generation informed about'). Punctuation misuse: 'Since,' at the start of a sentence without a main clause. Awkward phrasing: 'gives a step wise knowledge'.
How to Improve
Review basic grammar rules, especially subject-verb agreement and verb tenses. Practice writing complex sentences correctly. Use punctuation appropriately to separate ideas. Consider using grammar-checking tools or seeking feedback on sentence structure.
