On the one hand, students should choose their own curriculum because scholars have their own rights and to follow their passion and intrest. Students are not only studing for better career oppertunities or increase income. Some of them are learning for their knowledge enhancement in the field they love. For example, several students are learning under and post graduate degrees in dance and art. By forcing them to learn something they do not intrested in lead them to stress and frustration. Which can significantly affect their mental health. So this perspective shows that leting the students choose the subject they want can lead to meaningful contributions and achivements to the society.
