Some people argue that the objective of museums is to educate people, while others believe that museums should be enjoyable places to entertain people. In my opinion both views are correct and could have dual purposes.
Firstly, some groups support idea that museums have an educational value. Of course, museums are places where the history speaks. All artifacts which have a historical values were collected and placed in it in order to learn the generations what had happened in the past. Moreover, the only communication means with the past that the things what ancestors left us. Museums are a knowledge treasure specially for researchers who hold the burden to answer anthropological questions. For instance, Nowadays elementary and secondary schools used to arrange a educational trips to museums in order enabling students watching and touching what they have learned. Additionally, Rememberance and inspiration from this preserved heritages are one of the most educational benefits people could perceived.
On the other hand, Some people have a different point of view they are seeing these facilities as only a place for enjoying themselves. those people depends on that they could make a social trips, playing and touring around attractions. Many museums have a suitable location to do other activities beside it. Therefore, visitors always organize a trips with a variable programs around museums. Indeed this a valuable economical advantage for the businesses owners. However, it is not the only purpose of establishing museums.
In conclusion, enjoyment is important because it makes people curious and willing to learn. However, Museums are not for enjoyment alone, it is a good place for people to learn.
